Wee Play, LLC Policies

Wee Play's philosophy is that a young child learns best through play and that the parent is the child's best teacher.  Through play, children learn about themselves, other people, and the world around them.  Wee Play strives to meet parent and child needs in a caring, fun, and positive environment.

Please take note of the following guidelines~

  • You are your child's teacher at Wee Play; please supervise your child at all times.  Cell phones are discouraged; please set your phone to vibrate and take your call in the lobby.
  • Dress your child appropriately for active and sometimes messy activities.  Soft soled shoes are to be worn by everyone at all times.  (adults and children)
  • Classes are divided into 10 - 15 minute segments to allow for different temperments and attention spans.  If your child is not ready to participate, please take him/her to the lobby and join us for the next segment.  Please do not go in the activity room while waiting.
  • Please do not bring your child to class when he/she is sick.  Temperatures should be normal for 24 hours before returning to group activity.  Wee Play has a liberal make-up policy.  See below.
  • Non-participating siblings are welcome.  Please supervise your children at all times.
  • Twins and siblings are welcome and receive a discount.
  • Discounts are available in exchange for assistance with craft prep.  Please contact Wee Play for more information.
  • Do not hesitate to ask any questions or share concerns.

Refund policy for classes:
Refunds are available- with no questions asked - at the end of the first day of your class only.  Refunds are not available for any reason if requested after the first day of your class.  Please send an email to weeplayinfo@aol.com and your refund will be processed.

Make up policy for classes:
You may attend any other Toddler, Pee Wee or Wee Play class within the session to make up a missed class.  We are happy to offer a very flexible make up policy; however, make ups may not be carried over to another session- whether you are enrolled or not.  Preregistration / notification is not necessary to attend a make up class.   There will be no credit for missed classes.

Sibling policy
Non-participating younger or older siblings are welcome to accompany Wee Play students.  Parents are responsible for their children and must supervise them at all times.  Wee Play reserves the right to limit the number of siblings attending classes.

Wee Play strives to accomodate families' schedules as best as possible.   Non-enrolled participating siblings or out-of-town guests are welcome to join in a Wee Play class on an occasional basis- space permitting.  Please contact Wee Play to reserve a space for your child.  A drop-in fee will apply.

Snow policy
Check the Wee Play web site by 8 AM for snow/weather cancellations.  Cancelations will be posted on the Wee Play web site by 8:00 AM.  Wee Play does not always follow  Fairfax County or Loudoun County Public Schools snow cancellations.  Wee Play may be open if Fairfax County or Loudoun Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather.   If weather or other school closings make it difficult to attend your Wee Play class, please help yourself to a make-up class.

If Fairfax County or Loudoun County Public Schools have a delayed opening, Wee Play will hold classes on time.  If the delayed school opening poses a problem for you, please feel free to attend a make-up class at your convenience.

You may also phone (703) 870-7400 or email weeplayinfo@aol.com with questions.
