About Dr. Hackney
Originally a full-time preschool teacher, Rene Hackney holds a Masters in school psychology and a PhD.
in developmental psychology. She trained at Children's Hospital and in the public schools. Author of Eight Weeks
to Positive Discipline, Rene currently owns and teaches at Parenting Playgroups in Alexandria which is a parent resource center
and preschool classroom.
