Table Manners /Beg. Social Etiquette Class for Children
(ages 3 - 6 with adult)  $35
 

Children are most receptive to learning the rules of polite conduct between the ages of 3 - 6.      Through friendly props, puppets, activities and songs, manners
are made fun and exciting.  Children receive illustrated handouts and coloring pages
 to take home.  At the end of the class, children
will be presented to their parents and will receive their Certificate of Achievement.
 
Basic Table Manners Class will cover:
 
*     What is Etiquette?
*     History of Etiquette/Story of King Louis
*     Basic Manners
*     Mealtime Manners Matter
*     Proper Table Manners
*     Elbows off the Table
*     Entering and Leaving the Table
*     Napkin in the Lapkin
*     Making Proper Table Conversation
*     Avoiding Rudeness at a Table
*     How to Set a Table
*     Speaking at the Table
*     Taking Turns with Others
*     Clearing, Leaving a Table
*     Don't Spread the Germs
*     Restaurant Manners
 

Beg. Communication Etiquette and Telephone Manners

(ages 3-6 with adult)  $35

 

Through friendly props, puppets, hands-on visual activities and songs the children will learn basic telephone etiquette and communication.  Children will receive illustrated handouts to help them in learning their own telephone numbers, as well as coloring pages.  At the end of the class, the children will be presented to their parents and will receive their Certificate of Achievement.

 

Basic Telephone Manners/Communication Skills Class will cover:

 

ü      Respect for the telephone

ü      Who invented the telephone

ü      The phone is not a toy

ü      How the telephone works

ü      What is communication

ü      Answering the telephone

ü      Proper speaking voice

ü      Calling someone on the telephone

ü      What is the key pad and dial tone

ü      Leaving messages

ü      Waiting patiently while someone is on the phone

ü      What is your number?

V       The importance of 911.
